DESALES UNIVERSITY, Department of Philosophy and Theology, invites
applications for a non-tenure track Assistant Professor of Catholic
Philosophy to begin Fall, 2008 with the possibility of a long term
contract. We seek someone who is rooted in the Catholic intellectual
tradition, enjoys teaching undergraduates, and is respectful of the
Catholic and Salesian mission of the university. A Ph.D. and college
teaching experience preferred. Duties include teaching four courses
per semester and committee work. Although this is a non-tenure
position, the successful applicant can take advantage of our generous
long-term contracts with the possibility of conversion to a tenure
track position in the distant future. Women and minorities are
