Gavin, I think the Jacques Maritain list will be interested in knowing about this. Thanks. Jack

Subject: Philosophy Position opening up
Hello John,
Greetings; I hope you are well. I am writing in regard to a position that is opening up for the fall of 2009 in St. Vincent College's philosophy department. We need to find a person in ancient and medieval philosophy. From the seminary side, the reason I am involved in the search is because all of our pre-theologians take their 30 credits of philosophy from the philosophy dept. at the college. Thus it is imperative, from our perspective, that we get someone who is solidly Catholic, and I hope Aristotelian/Thomist. Can you make any recommendations to me? Are there any PhD graduates from the Medieval Institute looking for a position?
Thank you,
Michel
