IBM dW have published an article I wrote as a gentle introduction to
Jacquard.

It's a good moment to mention that I write for IBM's independent
technical journal purely as a freelancer. Yesterday I also learned
about IBM Rational Jazz, a methodology that looks to be trying to bring
RUP a bit closer to the spirit of agile methodologies, but is still very
much targeted at traditional enterprise software rather than Web
projects, and seems rather tightly coupled to commercial IBM products.
