Braces counted as new lines

Hi,

Jacoco counts opening and closing braces as concrete lines and marks them as not executed. I'm not sure what I'm missing here. Please let me know if there's a way to avoid this. Attaching a screenshot.

Hi,

indeed the screen shoot looks strange. Have you also tried the native JaCoCo reports?

What tool did you use to create the report? The JaCoCo Jenkins plugin?

Hi Marc,

I used the IntelliJ plugin. I used the javaagent to get the coverage data. How do I generate the report from the command line? I looked hard, but failed to find an example.

There is no JaCoCo command line tool for report generation. You can use Ant or Maven to do so:

  http://www.eclemma.org/jacoco/trunk/doc/

In any case I'm pretty sure JaCoCo reports look different, see here for an example:

Maybe you report this to Jetbrains?
