Jacoco version not inheriting to child module

Hi ,I have a multi maven project and I am executing the jacoco goals from maven opts with 0.7.9 version .parent module is executing its goal with 0.7.9,Somehow the child module are still downloading 0.7.5 version and executing my goals . What do I need to do to make my child modules to pick the same version of parent.

looks like a Maven configuration problem. Please consult Maven
documentation and check their support channels.

If you create a executable reproducer e.g. on Github we can have a look.
