I'm looking for a statement counter, which yields integer counts for each statement, rather than just statement coverage, which yields booleans.  I don't care about the execution time and space increases.  I'm looking for something akin to gcov in the gnu compiler world.

Does anybody know of such a tool, or, perhaps, a fork of the jacoco source code, that does this?

Hi Robert,

you might look at profilers. E.g. JProfiler provides method invokation counters. Not sure about statement though.
