Coverage as... in eclipse always shows 0% coverage

If I do something as simple as a Hello World application and then Coverage as... java application. The program runs but the coverage is shown as 0%.

Here are the details of my environment

Fedora 22
IBM java 1.7.1
eclipse luna
eclemma 2.3.3

Can someone help me out please. Thanks.

I should mention that in the console the program doesn't seem to terminate properly. No Errors, its just that normally the eclipse console shows "<terminated>" at the top, when I launch in coverage mode it doesn't.

however, the java process does terminate, I can confirm that at least.

Any errors in the Eclipse .log File?
