Release 0.8.12

Hi,

I propose to release JaCoCo version 0.8.12

So gate for commits is closed and staging completed, could you please verify:

https://oss.sonatype.org/content/repositories/orgjacoco-1054/
made from

https://github.com/Godin/jacoco/releases/tag/v0.8.12

Also in attachments you'll find diffs between 0.8.11 and staged versions for jars of org.jacoco.core , org.jacoco.report and org.jacoco.ant , which look as expected to me.

If all is fine, then will do promotion to Maven Central and finalize release by updating site, publishing tag, announcement, etc

thanks for preparing the release! I compared the jacoco.zip and compared it to the previous release. Looks good to me!

FYI, the Maven mojo documentation now includes this hint:

<li>The goal is thread-safe and supports parallel builds.</li>

                        

I think this holds true for our Mojos.

Yes, this holds true for a very long time - see https://github.com/jacoco/jacoco/issues/133

And this hint was added to the documentation thanks to an update of maven-plugin-plugin
