Encounter Show

Br. Ehtisham Siddiqui President of the I.O.S.T. was a guest on the Encounter Show hosted by Joe Sellepeck from the Broome Council of Churches.  The taping was conducted at WBNG studios in Johnson City.  This was a follow up to the Interfaith Statement that was read by the Broome Faith Leaders in December and will be aired this Saturday 5:30 am on WBNG and at noon on PBS.  It will reinforce the broader community support for anti-discrimination against Muslims or of members of other faiths. 

If you get a chance to see it, please send me any comments you may have.  If you miss it, you will have the opportunity to watch it on youtube in the near future.

Just a reminder that the next community forum on refugee resettlement will be held next Thursday, January 21 from 3:00 - 4:00 pm; where topics will include discussions on the resolution presented to city council last month as well as future fundraising. We hope to see you all there!

BCC MSA Event

The event originally scheduled for Jan 13th, 2016 has been changed to Wednesday, January 20th, one week later, due to a number of different factors. We would particularly like to invite both Muslims and Christians interested in learning more about Al Islam, as well as having a desire to participate in positive and beneficial dialogue.
