I looked back at Mike's replies to this group over the past six years and they all are the same gmail used for this one. hmm.  thanks Synthia!  i'll try an email-reply again.  sending from the Gmail address this time -- that mighta been the problem.  it's been a long time since i posted to this list...  sorry for the confusion...

Peter Kim's got a great writeup about Link Audio on his CDM blog.  one thing that leapt out at me -- only one device *listens* to the audio.  so it's a pretty different deal than what we're up to.  he also reenforces the "not for the internet, only local network" notion.

he links to a pretty neat article that he wrote back in 2021 describing a "Pandemic hacklab" and some of their experiences.  i built something similar...  :-)
