jacktrip without jackd problem

Hello everybody,

I would like to run jacktrip in HubServer Mode (-S) on my Ubuntu 22.04 internet server, without having a jackd running.

I compile "./build nojack nogui install" with success and can run

jacktrip -S # waits for connections

if I connect from my client (ubuntu 22.10 with pipewire) there is a short indication of a connection, but the (jacktrip -S) server than core dumps.

What am I doing wrong?

What version of JackTrip? type jacktrip -v from the folder where jacktrip is installed.

As of version 1.4, -R in the command line will allow you to use the built-in sound system rather than JACK.
You can get a list of commands with jacktrip -help.

Hi and thanks,

I use latestet git version (1.6.9-beta1) but have tried with other versions too.

I just ask for the server (in HubServerMode) and there is no sound system at all on the server side.

How exactly can I start (and compile) jacktrip to run (and work) on a internet-server in HubServerMode and loopback mode?
