Adding hibernate module in JAX-RS application

Hello,

I want to add the jackson-datatype-hibernate module to a jax-rs module (adding jackson-jaxrs-providers to the project).  jackson-jaxrs-providers says that it auto-registers, so how can I register the jackson-datatype-hibernate module if I don't have access to any configuration?
