Ok, so, Jackson 3.0.0-rc1 was released 1 week ago, and I finally
finished a blog post about it:

It'd be great to get some feedback for anyone with time to try things out.

ps. Apparently there is a minor (?) problem with `jackson-bom` wrt
usage from Gradle -- to be fixed in 3.0.0-rc2.
