Jackson 3.1.0-rc1 released, testing feedback much appreciated

Quick note: the first -- and I hope, only -- release candidate for 3.1
is now out.
With almost 100 changes (mostly fixes, but also 4 Most Wanted issues tackled):

it has TONS of changes. Mostly for good but there's always a higher
chance of regression with more ambitious (and just... MORE) fixes.

There are also some small but important behavioral changes -- listed
under "Changes, Behavior" -- that we want to get in 3.1 to essentially
try to finalize expected behavior for 3.x, addressing issues found in
3.0.0 GA.

Given all of this, now would be a great time to get some feedback
based on testing by users!
As much as I want to get 3.1.0 GA out, I'd also want to take time to
minimize disruption due to uncaught regressions.

So, if you have any bandwidth to test 3.1.0-rc1, help would be very
much appreciated!
