About to release 2.18.0-rc1 soon (this week)

Quick note: after finishing the last "must have" feature for 2.18 --
ability to "decorate" CSV values (like brackets around array values in
column) -- I am now ready to finally push the first (and hopefully
only) release candidates, 2.18.0-rc1.

I will proceed at the earliest tomorrow, but more likely some time
later this week.
Please let me know if you have suggestions for things that should
still be included and I can postpone this RC.
(but we can of course fix issues post-rc1, pre 2.18.0 final too)

I will send another note when the 2.18.0-rc1 release is out.
