Jackson 2.12.0-rc2 -- the last release candidate -- released: please go out and test!

So, the second -- and we hope, last -- Release Candidate for 2.12,
2.12.0-rc2 was just released and is available from Maven Central.

There have been many important fixes since 2.12.0-rc1, and it seems
that we are close to final 2.12.0. It would still be helpful if anyone
with some spare time could try out this RC to check out compatibility
-- if you have code that is using 2.11.x and can test swapping it out
for 2.12.0-rc2 to check if everything works, that would be great: any
problems found now could still be addressed before final 2.12.0.

Our current thinking is that the official 2.12.0 could be released in
2 weeks, around the end of November 2020.

Thank you to everyone who has already tested 2.12.0-rc1 and provided
feedback, bug reports and so on.
I also went ahead and created an additional Wiki page for special
acknowledgments for contributions included in 2.12:

which I thought would be particularly appropriate since there have
been many more contributions to 2.12 than previous versions.
