Jackson County Missouri ARES will open a new Digital ARES Training and Traffic Net beginning on February 1, 2012. Jackson County Missouri ARES Digital Training Net -JCADTN

The purpose of JCADTN net will be to provide training in the use of various digital  modes of communication afforded by FLdigi.  Additional training each week will center on the use of FLmsg and this programs various features forms.

Simulated  emergency traffic will be passed on a weekly basis using these and other programs.

A weekly "homework" assignment will be posed as a feature of the net.

Open to all "ham" using digital or wanting to learn more about the digital communication modes and servicing emergency traffic using these modes.

Information concerning  JCADTN time, frequencies and waterfall information will follow.
