Jackson County ARES members:

On Saturday, 1 October Jackson County ARES and other volunteer emergency communications groups will be participating in the Metropolitan Emergency Communications Committee Simulated Emergency Test. Part of that exercise will involve a demonstration of capability and completion of tasks using digital messaging over ham radio. The Fldigi computer application for this part of the exercise is going to be used by other groups and its use by all groups is highly encouraged. I would like to have training in Fldigi offered at our next Jackson County ARES general membership meeting. I am asking if anyone in receipt of this message would be willing to provide our group with an Fldigi education, either individually or a part of a training team.
