Jackson County ARES general membership meeting

Jackson County ARES members:

We will have a meeting for all ARES members on August 14 at 7:00 pm at the American Red Cross office at 211 West Armour Boulevard in midtown Kansas City, MO. There will be talk-in service on the 146.97 MHz. repeater. The purpose of this important meeting will be introduction of credentialing for Jackson County ARES members. 
I have attached to a PDF file containing a letter of  introduction to the credentialing system. The file also contains is an EMI Independent Study Transcript Request Form and an application to the credentialing program.

You may bring a completed application and course certificates of completion to the meeting to submit to the credentialing committee. You may also bring questions about how to fill out the application form and other questions you may have about the credentialing program.

The Jackson County ARES credentialing committee has superbly prepared for credentialing introduction. That committee consists of Richard Fretwell and Chris Imgarten. I suggest, that as the work load increases during the implementation phase of the credentialing process, the committee would welcome offers of assistance from the membership. I believe you will agree, when you see what is involved in managing the credentialing process, there is much work involved.
