For the four (4) Mondays in September JC ARES has and will practice digital modes use in preparation for the October SET. This practice will take Place on the BS repeater 147.015 (pl 151.4) Monday evenings (September) @19:30 local. If possible prepare and save your own ICS-213 message for the Net, please keep them brief. As an FYI the FlMsg program (when you Save) assigns your callsign and unique identifier as the filename, when I receive it my system will save as your call/identifier as the filename, an easy way for semi-permanent records on both ends.

In addition to the repeater on Monday evening it is suggested that two or more HAMS could make use of the FM simplex frequency 145.710 The two 'main' modes of use (likely during SET) are BPSK31 and MT63-2000. Please do take time to practice sending and receiving ICS-213 messages, keep them brief. The simplex frequency is best suited to test/troubleshoot issues  VS the limited Net time on the repeater.
Additionally I'd like to see a few amateurs using the combination of Fldigi/FlARQ. Which can be used to send files, photos or even email. This combination is primarily used for one to one transfer, not one to many, it is fully error corrected. Transfer times vary with modes selected and file size. With longer transmit times check your radio for overheating.

Please give a try using -
SIMPLEX FM
145.710 MHz
start/fallback to waterfall 1000hz & BPSK31
