Dear YG,

Attached are two documents that expand upon the material I presented at the recent JAG meeting. I would like these distributed to the members of the Management Subcommittee. I will be at the meeting on Tuesday to answer questions related to the analyses contained in the documents.

For the members of the Subcommittee, the "Summary Comparison" is the more important document to review first. It contains all of the key figures and charts of the more complete "Analysis of Effects." The latter document is provided as backup for the summary document, but it is relatively lengthy and not tightly edited.

I stress that the analyses contained in the documents have not been reviewed by Cal Fire staff nor has it been endorsed by the JAG. The conclusions expressed are mine and do not necessarily reflect those of the JAG.

I apologize for the getting these to the board members so close to the meeting. I was hoping to be able to expand on the analysis contained in the figures in Section I of the Summary, but the more detailed data of Helge's projection came too late.

I look forward to discussing the effects of the JAG recommendations with the Management Subcommittee.
