i tried running license:import again, but this does not work, and
there seems no update command.

it should not be too hard to refactor the importer to check if a
commit already exists and just add new ones to the db
https://github.com/beberlei/license-manager/blob/master/src/Doctrine/Bundle/LicenseManagerBundle/Services/ImportService.php

however i wonder if we will then lose the approval or everybody must
approve his new commits since april.

i started with the refactoring, if i am lucky i will get it to work
tonight and then we see.

cheers,david

Hi,

Just curios: What are the next steps? I ask, because I had a (deeper) look into jackalope/jackalope-mongodb and thought it might be useful to wait for a PR till the license-change is done, so I can provide the PR already including the license change for the mongodb-transport.

Regards,
Sebastian

hi sebastian,

ok, so i finally went through all the code and changed the license
information all over the place.

i realize that http://phpcr-license.davidbu.ch/licenses/projects did
not mention the mongodb transport. but then again, the one and only
contributor there is chirimoya who did approve the license change for
the other repos.

if you want to resurrect this project, i propose you do a first PR
adding the two @license lines to all files, update the LICENSE file
and the README, then ping @chirimoya in that PR to ask him if he can
confirm the dual-licensing.

by now the transport interfaces should be rather stable. though i fear
that some parts will not be very well documented. if you can add
documentation to base jackalope when you have to reverse-engineer
things to figure them out, we appreciate.

i can't promise much help at this point, as our focus lies on
releasing stable versions of the existing jackalope projects and the
cmf. but of course you can ask on this list or github and if we can
help you, we will.

cheers,david
