Hi there, I think you're talking about the task for Swift.
It's great to hear you're interested in working on Swift for the
summer. The best way to have a conversation about this is probably to
drop by the sw...@rooms.swift.im room and have a chat with Remko or me
at some time - but I'm also happy to answer questions here if you have
specific queries.
Generally speaking, the project is in three parts - creating a history
UI, creating a local store, and implementing protocol for querying
server-side archives.
We've got some teaser tasks up at http://swift.im/gsoc.html that
you're welcome to have a go with if you fancy learning what working
with Swift code is like.
