Hi Everyone,
First of all, thank you to those of you who made it for taking the time and sharing your ideas with the group. (If you didn't make it and have questions, follow up with me and we can talk). As promised, below you’ll find a summary of our discussion and a list of ideas; apologies for the length of the e-mail but there is a lot to get through.
We discussed the new buddy matching process, in which you will match admitted students interested in your industry with a member of your club. We realize that there may be some switching necessary, but we can accommodate. Additionally, Anderson students matched with a buddy should be encouraged to introduce the admitted student to other resources/students in other clubs, but continue to own the relationship.
We will also have club members on the GIS (Group Information Session) panel. These panels happen three times/week and a schedule will be coming in the next few weeks for clubs to sign up for.
Please take a look at these admissions ideas with your respective club boards and fill out the google doc below BY WEDNESDAY, MAY 15 to let me know which events your group would be interested in. Based on the responses, I’ll work with the AAC board and the Admissions office to create systems that efficiently facilitate as many of these requests as we can.

In the meantime, if your club is interested in reaching out to a certain group of admitted or prospective students, please e-mail me directly and I’ll work to point you in the right direction.
Thanks,
Chris Hatfield
