Welcome back, Sakeb!

 

I agree the system is useful if information are updated to date.

However, I’m intentionally keep it “closed” because the system won’t work properly unless we setup Wepay. We don’t have Wepay, then we need to collect money separately from signed up students separately && physically, which will be quite stressful as we experienced in Japan Trip.

 

It’s a discussion whether we need to have Wepay, so let’s talk about it in the first board meeting of this quarter.

Because of time restrictions, we’re unable to use this system for this year.. please do not open!

Do you think we should move our member registration process Online via Wepay?

If so, then I'll proceed to start with the Wepay signup.

 

1 Year membership - ?

2 Year membership- $40

 

However, I have a feeling that some clubs are not moving to the new system (as indicated in Ayush's mail).

 

Please let me know your thoughts.

You will need to follow the instructions here:

 

 

That will let you set the club to Open and to set the tiered pricing. However, I also see that JABA hasn't set up their Wepay account either. Does JABA have a Wepay account?

 

If it does not, it will have to sign up for one using the instructions found at the bottom of the "Anderson Internal Club Sites.pdf" document I have attached. However, the club fair is on Monday and I'm not sure you can sign up for Wepay that quickly!

Many, many clubs still do not have their club fees set up and the club fair is a few days away. Why is it important to set up your fees? Because if you have people sign up using your online store in Wepay (instead of the club "Join" button), then someone will have to go back and MANUALLY ADD EVERYONE TO YOUR CLUB ROSTER. Isn't it easier to have the system just add everyone for you instead?

 

Again, go to https://clubs.anderson.ucla.edu/Pages/Home.aspx and you will see what your club's fees currently look like. And just for the record, here are all the problems that I see as of right now:

 

ACF - Closed

AMBC - Other/Online Store

AMA - Other/Online Store

PSC - Closed/Online Store

ASSC - Free?

AMSA - Other/Online Store

ABA - Other/Online Store

BIVB - Closed

BSSC - Closed

EMG - Other/Online Store

EMA - Other/Online Store

EA - Online Store

GCBA - Other/Online Store

HBA - Other/Online Store

HTBA - Other/Online Store

IBA - Other/Online Store

IFA - Three year option?

JABA - Closed

JBSA - Other/Online Store

OABC - It says Free in description

If you see your club's name, then there is something wrong with your club's fees. If you cannot figure out how to fix it, please contact neama.dadkh...@anderson.ucla.edu. Believe me, I'm just trying to make everyone else's life easier. If you do not set up the page correctly, you will be adding people to your club roster one at a time using a clunky system. It will suck.
