Hi all,
On May 16, we will hold a film screening event at UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs. The film "Metamorphosis," a documentary about the aftermath of the 2011 Japanese earthquake and tsunami, focuses especially on Fukushima nuclear plants and the surroundings.
The film includes various video footage which Japanese media have not broadcast. Jun Hori, a former news anchor for NHK, Japan’s national public broadcasting corporation, worked on this film while he was at UCLA as a visiting scholar. He conducted interviews with people in nuclear plant areas not only in Japan but also in the US:

Although this film is the preliminary version and is not completely edited yet, we believe you will grab some sense of what has been going on in Japan. After the film screening, we plan to have a short discussion with you.
This event will start by debriefing of Luskin Japan trip 2013 by Keitaro Tsuji, MPP '14. 22 Luskin students visited Japan during the spring break and traveled around Tokyo and Tohoku, the tsunami hit area.

This is Yusuke Fujita, class of 2012. I hope all the members of admissions office are doing well!
I am planning to host a welcome party for the new class of 2015 Fulltime MBA Admits, hopefully during May. Could you please send me a list of new admits, if possible?
