Why the Change to the Bylaws and Constitution

We are in the process of filing for our non-profit status and we need your help! According to our Constitution & Bylaws, we must vote on any changes to our governing documents. The changes to our Constitution and Bylaws are administrative changes adding statements to satisfy the I.R.S. for our non-profit application. These changes are inserted in Article IX "Dissolution" in the Constitution and Article XI "Dissolution" in the Bylaws. In summary, the verbiage proposes that if the Joint Alumni Association is ever dissolved, any assets or remaining funds will be split between the National Staffs of Arnold Air Society & Silver Wings -- oversight of these funds would be through the Executive Management Center.
