Greetings Harry.

Congratulations on the excellent work that has always been developing in the community. Thank you so much Harry. Just like JaamSim... JaamSim Pro is excellent.

Thanks to JaamSim being Open Source (and being an excellent simulation software) it was possible for me to carry out work in the classroom with my students at the Federal University of Ouro Preto, in the Production Engineering course.

Please I would like to know what is the plan for the future of JaamSim Open Source.

JaamSim is Licensed under the Apache License, Version 2.0.

By any chance, do you intend to continue with the Open Source version of JaamSim?

Continuing with the Open Source version of JaamSim is a huge differential for us who work with simulation research in the Production Engineering course at UFOP ( Federal University of Ouro Preto, Brazil ).

Cristiano,

Don't worry -- we still have big plans for open source JaamSim. It is not going to disappear or become stale. As I mention in my recent blog post "Introducing JaamSim Pro", any new features that do not relate directly to vehicle motion or material flow will be added to the open source JaamSim. The Pro version is intended only for a relatively small number of users in a niche market.
