Dear JaamSim-Users

I'm currently facing two challenges in the development of a hospital-simulation model. The first challenge is to install a time-based routing.

  • Branch1 → Queue1: Orders placed between 07:00 and 08:15 should be delivered at 09:00.
  • Branch1 → Queue2: Orders placed between 08:15 and 09:15 should be delivered at 10:00.
  • Branch2 → Queue3: Orders placed between 09:15 and 12:00 should be delivered at 12:00.
... and as newby in JaamSim I'm not shure if it's work with Branches and Queues.

Additional requirement:

90% of the entities from Branch2 should be routed to Branch1, while the remaining 10% should be directed to EntitySink2.

... maybe with the Bernoulli-formula - but different tries didn't worked yet out.

Has anyone implemented a similar logic, has an idea or come across a related thread in this forum?

I've attached a preliminary draft of my current model structure. All choice conditions have been temporarily removed, as they have not been functioning as expected.

Best regards and thanks for your help in anyway,

Leon
