Hi, I wonder wether it would be possible to have the option to pause an EntityDelay with threshods and downtimes, as if it were a server or conveyor. Alternatively, if it would be possible to add an option to EntityConveyors to allow overtaking.
EntityDelays combined with ResourceEntities are ideal to model multiple servers, but they cannot be halted, or I didn't see how, and this would be sometimes necessary.
Thanks

Hi.

Please, could you explain a little more about the scenario you want to simulate in this specific part.

Depending on the situation, it is possible to do this with other objects in another way.

Anyway, I'll try to do what you're saying here.

If possible, I will send a response.

Thanks!

Atenciosamente,

The basic idea is using delays for the time duration of operations performed while using one or several resources. The EntityProcessor is not an option, because usually the resource is not returned immediately after the time duration ellapses, but after some other conditions are fulfilled (e.g., availabiity of a resource for the next operation). I hope this is clear, otherwise I would make a simplest example where the necessity is apparent. Thanks

This example would be (a not simplest) one in the case the machines could fail: https://groups.google.com/g/jaamsim-users/c/mtQKL4pBMG8/m/9Xl4_onHBQAJ
