An helper for inserting new Components

Dear Harry,

Just a minor topic.

In my modest experience with the JaamSim I often needed to modify a model adding more and more components, aimed to enrich the simulation and achieve a more realistic behaviour.

When there are lots of repetitive modifications to be performed, the linking phase can be quite time consuming.

I would find it useful if, during the drag and drop of a component, when it is dropped on another existing component the user could choose to automatically link the object Before or After that existing component, automatically setting the Previous and Next links.

This is just an idea that I wanted to share, not exactly a priority :-)

Hi Lorenzo,

The 'Create Entity Links' button is intended to create the links between object that you describe. I find that it is best to drag and drop the objects first and then activate the Create Entity Links button and link them by clicking on them in sequence. However, if you can also activate the button first and then the objects will be linked automatically as they are dragged and dropped. Either way, any mistakes can be corrected using the Undo button.

Harry
