A collective addressing Bangalore's waste challenges through field research, open dialogue, design thinking and making.

Maker Camp #1

Who: 10–12 year old children

For Maker Camp #1, Daily Dump, Niche, along with Jaaga, will be engaging children in the age of 10–12 years of age about Bangalore’s everyday waste system and how each child’s lifestyle can contribute to the improvement of escalating environmental issues through creative outlets.  

• Waste Safari: Field tour of Bangalore’s waste management process

• Design thinking tools and exercises

• Heightened sense of awareness on the interrelationship of waste, self, health

   and environment.

• Create the first Maker Camp manifesto

• Take–home booklet designed by our team

   

• Take–home recycled product design

• Presentation of designs to a panel of local changemakers.
