StartJAABA Issue

Hello!

When I type in the function 'StartJAABA' into Matlab a long list of errors pops up. 

Warning:Could not set up matlabpool: Unrecognized function or variable "paraclusters"

Error in SetupParPool

Error in StartJAABA

Would anyone happen to know what any of this means and how to fix this?

Could it be that parcluster is the function it can't find, not paraclusters? JAABA uses parcluster, but I don't think it uses something called paraclusters...

If it is not finding parcluster, it sounds like it is a Matlab version problem.

Could you let us know what version of matlab you are using? Please send the output of 

ver

People in our lab are using updated versions of JAABA with relatively recent Matlabs (sometime in the past year, not sure of the exact versions). I haven't used JAABA myself recently, on my laptop which has Matlab 2021b, it seems to run 

Could you check that you're using the latest version of JAABA from here:

https://github.com/kristinbranson/JAABA

Also, could you check that your matlab path doesn't have extra/old code on it by running

path

at the command line?
