I have a questions for TCServer on t24. Jbase server install on AIX, can I install TCServer on Window and connect to AIX server Jbase?
How can config tcserver.xml and some file on conf folder?
Can I do it? Please help me to solve this problem.
 Thanks and regards,

Hi,

You can not install TCServer on another machine. You must install
tcserver whereever u intalled JBase and T24 because in tcserver.xml
file the bnk.run path and jbase path is hardcoded.

In simple word you can not..........

Hi,

It could be done by using OS tactic  use samba at AIX and  mount the windows TCSERVER  folder  as shared on AIX and then you can give the path . if u wont able to share the windows folder at AIX than Sarfaraz is right .  :) Chill

Please remember it is [T24], not T24 or -T24- or t24 etc, that is needed in the subject line ;-)

There may be a T24 specific answer to this, but in the general case you start jBASE daemons like you would any other daemon on UNIX, via the init.d/rc.n system. You need a script that configures the environment variables, then runs the TCServer process. Check with your support channel though, as I would think that this sort of thing has already been configured in some generic startup for T24 daemons.
