under the headng of wtf! How much does your rudder weigh? I think I got a hernia from lifting the "lightweight rudder and carbon post" as it says in the J92 spec sheet. My 105 rudder was at least half the weight!!

Well then , maybe I am more concerned than I need to be. Thinking back when I had the 105 rudder out for a new barrier coat, it was 15 years ago. Maybe age has caught up with me.
No, rethinking this , the rudder weighed more like the bag of rocks…definitely more than 40lb, way more.

Unscientifically, mine weighs about 50 +/- 10lbs. I weighed it two years ago and can't recall if/where i wrote it down. It's more in the ballpark of a 5-gallon water jug (40lbs) than a bag of rock salt (80lbs).
