I've had a few inquires about the trailer, so I'll post more info. Re: Renting it-I personally don't have an interest in renting it. It creates issues with insurance. I will say that buying it and re-selling it is probably the cheaper option. I've only posted it here and, as mentioned, got a few hits. FB Marketplace, Craigslist, Sailing Anarchy are still on my list for advertising options, but this trailer should stay with a J92 so I'm willing to hold off a bit to see if a fellow owner wants it.
Here are some pics. 4 tires date-stamped 2023 Load Range E. The spare oddly was newly purchased in 2023, but I didn't catch that it was date stamped 2019.
Price includes a quick-attach (but large) Wide Load sign for the back (it's on a sheet of 1/4" plywood and U-Bolts to the rear stantions), 3 large straps, rear pushpit board to support mast, and if you are ramp launching, I'll include the extension straps and security straps I used. I also have a new rotor/hub and brake caliber in the spare kit for the trailer.
I secured Wide Load permits through JJ Keller. Once they created my file with a bunch of measurements and load capacities, it was a simple call to them to secure future short-term permits. Roughly $70 per state for a 3-5 day permit. I will say that over 6000 miles towed, I did 55 mph in the slow lane during daylight hours with 2018 GMC 1500 Z71 Crew Cab. Never once caught police attention.
Photos are current, except for the one with my boat on it. That was 2021. I do have new reflector tape going on this week.
