Question: adding a Code 0 or similar sail typically requires adding a furling unit.  I am getting a lot of different responses from sailmakers as to the brand, size, features, etc., of furlers for these sails.  Any input/feedback would be greatly appreciated!

I never bothered with a furler for the code 0 on my 92 (for 13 years). It’s a fractional hoist, so the sail area is not overwhelming.

With my 99 having a masthead hoist and quite a bit more sail area, I opted for an ubi maior furler and love it. It’s an excellent furler, but it’s not cheap.
