Good morning this map is interesting .
I see my boat placed where the ex owner used to live and the boat still
carries her old name. It had been renamed before I bought her . #72. Was
SS Claire. And now PEP
There is another boat JLance #05. The location is where the owner lives.
There are another J92 not listed and a J92s not listed either.
Can the names and locations be corrected ?

I love this! It would be wonderful to keep the history on each boat as we update, if that would be possible. Maybe the current info could be added to the Description area?
Tim, thank you for volunteering to take this on! If there’s some reason it would be helpful for you to have info from the Admin side, please let us know.
What do you all think about setting up a Google Form or some survey mechanism for everyone to put in their current info so we don’t clog up the forum? Or maybe everyone likes to see the thread as it takes shape?

Additions and corrections are very easy. I just renamed and moved #14 to
Stamford, renamed yours to PEP and renamed Navicula to Runaway. I've
given you, Tim, and Phil edit rights to the map.
Tim Roche has volunteered to take over the database, so I'll work with
him to get that going. The forum archives should be replete with
information on boats changing hands over the past dozen years, should
anyone want to start culling it for updates that Tim can make to the
database.

The database has tons of ownership history. It might be unwieldy to try
to bodge all that into the map data sheet, unless someone is inclined to
script the creation of the map from the database. Not sure it'd be worth
the effort.

Thanks for doing this. I own #26 Redline along with Ray Gustin, sailing out of Indian Harbor YC in Greenwich. The boat was previously Suspect and earlier Risk.

I could, but I really can't. :) It was worthwhile to make a couple of
changes just to familiarize myself with managing the map. Mark, Tim, and
Phil have edit access and I'll leave further changes to them.
Folks should feel free to chime in on this thread with boat
name/location/owner updates, and the team can register the updates on
the map and/or in the database as spare time permits.

#91- now named *Vixen* is owned by EJ Haskell (me), Shane Bouslough and Jim
Weil. She and sails out of Old Greenwich Yacht Club in Old Greenwich, CT.
I believe we are the 3rd or 4th owners. It was originally in Florida and
presumably (from Todd's map) named SlumpBuster. We purchased it from
Newburg, NY, on the Hudson River and kept the name Vixen (changed her
logo/image from a buxom babe to a sly fox!)
Other J92 that I know of:
#92 - now named *Easy Red* is owned by John Cutting and sails out of Indian
Harbor Yacht Club, Greenwich CT

called Rocky and I believe sails out of North Cape Yacht Club in Michigan.
I stayed in the J boat family. Now have a J/120.

Hey all, almost in numerical order here, haha: Spirit is a J92s, #56. Based in Newport, Rhode Island. I've had her since 2010. Previously she was owned by a really nice guy, Tom Aquino, named Rum and Cola, and freshwater sailed on Lake Carlisle Illinois.
Bk Bk I'm interested in putting something together for the 92/92s crowd in the local Southern New England region. I see some boats down in Connecticut I wasn't aware of.
