Hi Colin,The actual frame and hinge cracked on my hatch so looks to be well beyond repair. I would be interested in your old one if you would be willing to part with it. How much would you want for it?Select plastics is very close to where I keep my boat so getting the new lens will be easy.Thank you!!Christian

Hi Christian,--Assuming you are talking about J92 classic, I believe it was a Lewmar product. I replaced mine as the lexan had cracked with a Lewmar Ocean Hatch Size 60 Flat Base. I wish I hadn't and had just had the lexan replaced properly as that model is discontinued and I replaced it with one that had a different profile. It was a bit of a pain to mount (holes were different as I recall) and when it opens the centre of the lexan hits the deck before the frame. It hasn't broken .... yet, but is certainly more vulnerable. My problem was I had replaced the lexan locally here in NS and they didn't do a good job, so I gave up and bought a new one. I do, however, still have the old one ... the frame, hinges, etc. are all fine. I understand that Select Plastics https://selectplastics.com/mrine-hatch-repair/ does good repairs. Maybe you could have yours repaired or if you want my old one, you could have it refurbished or at least the lexan replaced.Hope that helps,ColinJ92 #8 Poohsticks
