Lestek 135 AMP Dual Output single pulley Alternator for J/42

Hi all,

We are trying to source a spare alternator to keep in reserve for our J/42 Yanmar 3JH2TE motor. I am not sure if this Lestek model was original to the boat or not, but its what we have. Bayshore Marine in Annapolis, who does our work, can't source a single belt alternator option to keep as a spare. 

If this alternator is original or common to the J/4Xs, curious if anyone has one in their spare parts kit they may want to separate with ? :-) 

It is a Lestek 135 AMP Dual Output Alternator. See photo. I can't quite confirm model # b/c it seems that at some point the M# was re-stamped in part. But I don't think they restamped the actual original numbers. Perhaps it was aftermarket.

I found this one on eBay albeit with the slightly different Model #, but these two seem be identical. So asking the group. Many thanks.

PS - We would consider upgrading to a dual pulley system, but we just don't have time before we participate in Annapolis to Bermuda and Newport to Bermuda races. The existing alternator works great, so we are not swapping it out, just wanting a spare in case of emergency.

It just so happens that I have a Balmar dual output alternator as a spare from our previous boat. It is the older 90 series 150amp Dual (model 90-150 D) 

And I’m here in Annapolis. Since I don’t think it’s appropriate as a spare for our J/46 (we’re not set up for a dual output), I’d probably be willing to let it go.
