This is the area under the helm seat on hull no. 75 Southern Cross. Not sure if they capture what you are looking for.

Thanks Wayne. The area I am actually looking for is accessible from above deck- just inside the round port aft of helm. See behind me in attached picture, with help of red arrows...

Got it. It will be a few days but when I am back at the boat I could pull the plate and take some shots.

For further detail, basically, I am looking for the specs on the items at the vey top of this diagram-  the Rudder Stop Bolts which tap vertically into top plate, and the "Stop Pin" that goes horizontally through the cylinder at top of rudder post which accepts the emergency tiller (as I understand it, doubles as both "stop pin" to limit wheel from over-turning, as well as pin to hold Emergency Tiller in place). Yard lost both of these items and I am trying to replace. This is steering/rudder assembly chart from original J40 owners manual...

Reminds me of when we had our mast painted and then had to comb the yard for all the pieces. Understood on what you are looking for. Next time I am at the boat, I will take a look and see if there is anything identifying about those pieces.

On J/40 #7:
The pin diameter is 3/4”. Outside of the rudder tube the pin has a 1” diameter bushing. The stop bolts have a rubber bushing. The bushing is about 7/8 diameter. The bolt heads are 3/4 so maybe the bolts are 1/2.
Hope this helps.

To all that may be interesting in J-40 sails or parts for Yanmar 3JH4E  exhaust parts  as I lost my boat in a hurricane .
