Lifeline measurements for 1990 J/40?

I'll head down tomorrow or so, but does anyone have the measurements for the lifelines on their pretty little J/40?

We actually had our local rigger at Lyman Morse measure the lifelines . The reason being : the “specs” and what was actually measured were far different. WE were short about 12 feet w the specs compared to what was measured . Remember to figure in gates etc .

Yes, everyone's lifelines will be a little different based on the variation in stanchion installation positions, how bent they currently are, variation in the bow and stern rail fabrication and installation etc.  The rigger came onsite with a portable swaging machine and then fit-cut-swaged the end fittings on site, 1 by 1.  You'll need careful measurements if you end up going the route of made by measurements and you'll need them a little shorter than the as measured by a few inches to be able to tension up properly.

I would suggest to simply take the existing lifelines off and take them to be duplicated.
