Yep, in case anyone hasn’t noticed (I hadn’t) the hatches in the two heads are size 00 and the one in the aft cabin is size 10. At first glance they look the same (to me, anyway). (Forward cabin size 30, salon size 60.) Only my size 60 leaks and I have not figured it out. Water seems to come out between the lens and the frame. I stopped some of it by tightening the hinge screws, but it still leaks. For the moment, I’m sailing where it doesn’t rain much…
I’ve been trying to order replacement fly screens. Only size 30 and up are available to order though, and at exorbitant cost. I don’t get it - they sell them with the (even more exorbitant) trim kits in all sizes.

I too had a leaking hatch in forward head. Gasket was compressed beyond salvage IMHO, so ended up just replacing the lid. Our hatches on Jaywalker are too old to have the laser etching to revelve size as promoted on Lewmar web site. so I call Defender and they gave me a phone number for Lewmar factory support in the US. The gentlemen there helped me id the correct size. The forward head on a J/42 is a size 00. It came with handle preinstalled. The Lewmar youtube channel shows how you drift out the pin and new hatch plugs in. However, I did find when replacing that the fiction bolt had sheared from over-
tightening. so I needed to follow up with an order for a new bolt kit. All up it was about $400 to replace, took me about 2 months to figure it out and less than 30 mins to replace.
