Dorades

I was wondering if anyone knows the source for screw-on deck plates (similar to picture) that fit the Dorades on the J40.  I assume the Dorades on the J40 are the same size of the J42 and maybe others

Good morning Bud,

When I addressed this problem on the J46, I was forced to buy the newer and better dorades made of silicone at Vetus. Silicone is a much more sun-resistent material. Unfortunately, just a little different thread and size, and pricey, but much nicer, and that has been nine years and still look good, don't harden and crack or discolor.

Hm… Mine just has plastic friction-fit plates. The cowls don’t fit snugly at all. I actually lost one at sea and it wasn’t cheap to replace. Probably should have replaced the whole thing with a screw-on type. Next time...
