Barient 24 winch the "CAP" pictured here was broken.... it unscrews..... I need another??????? help??

Here in the Annapolis area, there are 2 places that sell salvaged boat parts.  I don't know if they'll sell just the lock ring.   They may require you to buy a complete Barient 24 to get the part you need.  And, if you're not local to this area, I don't know if they ship.

Hello - I took off several Barient winches last year and still have the old winches which I believe include a 24.

I am traveling until 7/7 but when I return , I can look for the piece you need. 

I am in SF so once we see if I have the piece needed we can think about logistics of shipping etc.

wonderful....    old sailor & old boat......   Resolve, #65 our J40 has two barient 24s at the main .... I'll see if the cap/bolt (the top ot the winch) on the broken one is removable & will send more comments... wonderful...Frank
