Hello Everybody!

We've decided to put our beloved J/42 on the market.  

This particular boat was with the original owners since its launch through the winter of 2021/2.  During that time it was stored indoors at Lyman Morse yacht yards in Camden ME.  Those familiar with LM can attest to their fanatical workmanship and attention to detail. Many of you know the original owner, Elliot Merrill, and how fastidious he is.  The boat has been refreshed on several occasions, including all new electronics, fresh Awlgrip, rebuilt engine, the entire vessel rewired including a new control panel, fresh bottom paint on top of a templating for both the keel and the rudder, and a brand new cabin sole of teak and holly.  The boat also features the "offshore" interior package which includes a pipe berth to port which can be deployed in minutes, and a sliding upper bunk to starboard which allows as many as four to sleep in the center (fore and aft) of the boat with the least amount of pitching.  The sail inventory is in excellent condition and especially under ORRez highly competitive.  Over the summers of 2022 and 2023, the boat went on a winning streak which included the Camden Classic Cup's J/42 one-design class win with two firsts in two races, and the Manchester Fall Series both seasons with a total of three 1st and a 4th for overall wins both seasons.  The bottom line is she's fast, comfortable, safe, extremely well-maintained, needs nothing, and she's gorgeous to look at both inside and out.
