Hi guys,

I’m not in yet. My boat is at waterline getting work done and they are still at it. I will probably launch next week. Arg!

I was quoted $7 per foot to launch with the Marblehead trading co.

Also, I just got quoted 225 to store my trailer at the laundry. That has gone up.

I’m without a boat until probably the 10th at the earliest.

My boat if getting vermiculite fixed and a bottom job. Turns it I’ve been sailing with a wiggly keel for many years now. Long story.

Hi,

Not including mast no. However, they offer to do it or help do it providing help at $90/man hour. I discussed it with them and I will probably get the mast all read for them to help at the end. So, it should not be a lot of $ on top. I think they want to use the crane after the boat is in the water. This works ok but you would want to supervise.

Hi! I just launched today!!! There’s still some rigging stuff to sort out, had a hard time figuring it out today with the 7 yr old in tow.

She’s looking sharp though! I bit the bullet & painted her. I know it’s not the best racing color, but I love it! (Over the line blue). 

Marblehead trading did launch her & there are a bunch of boats sitting in their yard. This guy Ralph is helping to crane them in - Jocelyn Cook would have more info - Calgon was there.

I currently have my trailer at Parkers, but I’m going to sell it. It’s in pretty rough shape & made working on her a bear. It’s cheaper to rent jacks than store it. $100 and she’s anyone who’s interested - covers the cost of storing & hauling for one month - which I’m going to have to pay. I’m going to put it up on the garage this week or next. 

I am hoping to race her in more than the Noods, but don’t know if I’ll manage it this season. Maybe a bit of Summer series over at JYC & some Fall? Since we’re unlikely to get a fleet start in anything here. I’ve been doing PHRF on Wednesday’s - doing bow for Goldeneye, but I prefer one design. 

If you want to get out on the water before your boats are in let me know. I’m always happy  to go out!
