Those of us who launch at Parkers

Marblehead Boating Center, the club which holds the lease for Parkers Yard during the sailing season and owns/maintains the crane is actively engaging the Harbormaster and the Harbors and Waters committees as the future of Parkers Yard is planned. Kay VanVulkenburgh has asked if the J/24 owners who launch at Parkers could please contact him. Some of you may know Kay, he is an active Viper sailor and does J/24 frostbiting in Boston.

The Harbormaster has indicated that use of the crane at Parkers may. not be an option this summer. MBC is working hard to prevent that from happening, but as a worst case scenario, Kay is talking to Marblehead Trading about the possibility of daysailing from their facilities. He needs to provide an estimated number of boats that will need use of the crane Trading.
