Young Children's Shabbat Service Leader Position

Bet Am Shalom, a vibrant Reconstructionist synagogue in White Plains, NY (betamshalom.org), is looking for an experienced, creative, and dynamic Leader for our bi-monthly (2x a month) children's Shabbat morning services (Shabbat Lataf) for 2014/2015 beginning in September. This participatory and engaging service (30-45 minutes) is for children ages 0 to 6 and their parents.  This welcoming and warm Leader will bring innovative ideas for a content-rich Shabbat service featuring singing, storytelling, and movement!  Playing a musical instrument is a plus but not a requirement.  Applicant should have experience working with children, possess a knowledge of Shabbat songs/prayers, and feel comfortable making kernels of Torah relevant and fun for young children.  The Leader will also connect with the parents in order to help build relationships between families.
