Click event for files

Is there a client side single-click event for individual files? I have tried the ClientOpenItemFunction, but, that doesn't seem to fire.

Do you mean selection by single click?

If you are talking about opening file or navigation, there is server side event.

Single click (selection) has no server side event.

Actually there is no client side API implemented.

But you can go deep in the source and find a place to inject your code.
